Salmonella.org.uk
is a web site set up by St David's
Poultry Team and SciTech Laboratories to inform our clients and
other poultry farmers of the implications of the Zoonosis
Directive, in particular the controls on Salmonella which are
either in place or about to be adopted.
This web site has been set up to inform Poultry farmers on the upcoming EU Regulations on the control of the five major zoonotic Salmonella bacteria which can affect chickens. The aim is to provide up to date information on the implementation of the Regulations, and to provide help and solutions to the challenges which we face in the next 24 months.
